STATEMENT

MY INSPIRATION..….comes from expressing joy and light in what can appear to be a very dark world.

i see my art as a cosmic calling-card, images are often received in a direct flow, which i trust also resonates with other people.

i am drawn to pattern-making as a meditative practice and process; incorporating both ancient and invented visual languages.

i tend to work in series of paintings, creating separate and discrete bodies of work, both sequentially and simultaneously.

artistic expression is such a fundamental part of my human experience, without it i would be completely adrift.

yet it so much more than a passport to holistic well-being; it is my raison d’etre
